Our story
We opened Phiwell because the choice in the city seemed to run between a busy salon and a hotel spa, and neither is quite what you want when you have had a long month. What was missing was somewhere small: two rooms, one appointment at a time, and a therapist who has read your notes before you walk in.
The studio sits on the second floor of Lake View Residence, away from the street. Everything in it was chosen for one reason, which is that it makes the treatment better. That includes the products, which come from two houses we buy from directly rather than through a distributor, and it includes the timings, which are longer than the industry standard because rushing the end of a massage undoes the middle.
What we offer is not complicated. Careful hands, natural formulations, magnesium therapy for people whose bodies are tired, and enough quiet to notice the difference.

Every appointment begins with a short consultation, and the products, pressure and pacing are chosen from there. The same treatment is rarely identical twice.
Two treatment rooms, one appointment at a time in each, and no queue at the desk. Small enough that we remember what you said last visit.
Trained, experienced and straightforward. They will tell you when a different treatment would serve you better, and when you do not need a product at all.
Skin, muscle tension and how you have been sleeping are treated as parts of the same picture rather than as separate items on a menu.
Carefully selected botanical skincare and wellness formulations, led by ALQVIMIA aromatherapy and chosen because they suit sensitive skin and long treatments.
A dedicated section of the menu using Of The Islands magnesium products, for muscle relief, recovery after effort and a genuinely quiet hour.
Ninety-minute experiences that combine aromatherapy, body care, massage and facial work into one sequence, with nothing sold as an extra.
Professional skin work with proper massage included, from a restorative hour to ninety layered minutes for dry or sensitised skin.
From thirty focused minutes on the shoulders to ninety unhurried ones, with pressure agreed by you and adjusted whenever you say so.

Three therapists, each with their own specialism. You can request any of them when you book, or leave it to us.
Founder & Ritual Therapist
Elina opened Phiwell after a decade working in spa and wellness across Tirana and abroad, with the specific intention of building somewhere small. She leads the signature rituals and the aromatherapy work, and she is the person most likely to tell you that a shorter treatment would suit you better than the one you booked.
Facial & Skin Specialist
Sara handles the facial menu and the Bian stone gua sha work. Her approach is unhurried and diagnostic: she would rather spend ten minutes looking at your skin and adjusting the protocol than run the same treatment twice in a day. She is also the one guests ask for honest advice about what to stop using.
Massage & Magnesium Therapist
Marin trained in classic and deep-tissue massage and now leads the magnesium therapy side of the studio. He works slowly, checks pressure properly rather than as a formality, and is the therapist most often booked by guests who train regularly and want their recovery taken seriously.
